Seattle Massage Pro allows me to combine a medical massage background with relaxation massage in a calming, beautiful atmosphere. I love to focus on creating a unique, one of a kind session for each person. Even though the techniques might be familiar, the actual massage never is the same because it is based on the body’s needs for that particular day.

Todd is an informed and intuitive therapist who focuses on understanding his client’s needs to deliver specific, deliberate massage at varying levels of pressure to affect fascial tissue to deep structures. His method involves crafting treatment plans along with his clients to address existing tension, restrictions, or pain. He mainly uses proprioceptive techniques such as Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, mobility work, as well as Hydrotherapy.

The bedrock of each session is clear therapist-client communication and understanding. Todd carefully considers health history, posture, and the wear and tear of daily life, and works for incremental improvement and resolution. Todd always uses careful touch, appropriate pressure and useful movement as he works to craft a treatment plan unique to each client. This process is typically relaxing and should not be painful.

Raised in New England, Todd made the excellent decision to move to Seattle and now lives in Ballard with his husband. Prior to working as a massage therapist, Todd lived in Boston, San Francisco, and New York working in higher education and technology. He loves to walk, hike, and travel; recently walking 450 miles on the Camino de Santiago through France. Todd studied for his massage license at DiscoveryPoint School of Massage in Seattle.

Hanna came to massage therapy from a lifetime spent moving. With a background in dance, somatics, Pilates, and yoga, their massage style is informed by deep somatic inquiry, curiosity, and creativity. Hanna’s massage is slow, deliberate, patient, and intuitive, helping clients find ease and integration in the treatment room and beyond.

They use a blend of myofascial, Swedish, neuromuscular, intraoral, and lymphatic techniques (among others) into their sessions. Clients describe Hanna’s massage as relaxing, specific, therapeutic, gentle, and effective. A recent client said, “My body felt woken up & relaxed. I could tell that they were listening to my body throughout the whole process. I also felt safe & my feedback in the moment was welcomed.” Hanna’s work is trauma informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and rooted in the values of accessibility, antiracism, and social justice.

Hanna studied massage at Discoverypoint School of Massage. Upon graduating in 2018 they have continued their bodywork education by studying the Trager Approach, scar tissue massage, and becoming endorsed to perform intraoral massage. In addition, they hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Western Washington University. Aside from massage, Hanna can be found performing dance and drag in Seattle’s queer performance community, and tending to plants, toddlers, and their cat Meatball.

Offering my clients the opportunity to take refuge in their bodies is central to my work. I have a compassionate appreciation for those struggling with trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, and feelings of disconnect from their bodies. I see my practice as a way to hold space for our weary nervous systems and to explore ease and rest. It is my hope that my clients leave our sessions feeling more inhabited and at home in their bodies.

Here’s what you can expect from our sessions together: slow, intuitive focus on whole body relaxation and site specific relief from pain and discomfort, using a range of tools including myofascial work, swedish massage, craniosacral techniques, guided meditation, and focused breathing. Conditions that would be helpful for this include fibromyalgia and other nervous system symptoms.

I graduated from DiscoveryPoint School of Massage and spend my free time playing music, reading, going for walks, and hanging out with my partner and our cat Lefty.

As a mother of 2 and 10 years of experience as a massage therapist, the older I get the more I begin to realize how all the different paths of my life have aligned to bring me to the place I am now. I made the decision to specialize in bodywork for many reasons.

I want to be a facilitator of self-care and awareness. I believe we owe it to ourselves to create our life, honor ourselves and take an active role in our physical, emotional, and mental health. We need to take the time to implement self-care into our daily lives.

I do injury-specific work, as well as deep tissue, pregnancy, motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, acute and chronic conditions, as well as treating those interested in maintaining and improving their health.

When I’m not taking care of my clients, I relish my time with my two amazing kids and husband. I also love practicing yoga & meditation, exercising, spending time at the ocean, and receiving great bodywork, such as regular acupuncture, massage, and chiropractic care.

Prior to becoming a massage therapist I was a commercial fisherman in Alaska for years. Like a lot of men, I didn’t know the benefits of massage and figured that the aches and pains my body felt were just a normal part of getting older. As men we tough out pain, often for weeks or even years. If that sounds like you, there is a better option. It wasn’t until my wife became a massage therapist that I started to receive massages on a regular basis and noticed what a drastic improvement it made on how I felt. Massage is often thought of as just for women, but men can benefit from this therapy Over my years of experience as a massage therapist, I have worked with clients with many different needs, including injury-specific work such as auto and sports injuries. I also have experience working with bodybuilders, cyclists, long distance runners, swimmers, golfers, triathletes, football players, soccer players, and many others. What you can expect in your one-on-one session is an informed assessment, a blend of assisted movements/stretches if needed and bodywork tailored to your individual needs. My style has been described as slow and precise. I specifically specialize in providing sustained deep pressure treatments. I also stop to address trigger points and allow the parasympathetic nervous system to calm down. I like to encourage every client to be an active participant in their own healing.

I am originally from San Jose, Ca and graduated from National Holistic institute in 2012. I love what I do and take pride in my work. My Massage is slow and exact and I believe in looking at the body as a whole. I believe massage should not hurt, but hurt so good is ok. I will always communicate everything I do and why I do it so you can make the decision if the massage will help you. However, if you are looking for a quiet relaxing massage, I can do that too. My specialties are deep tissue, massage cupping, intraoral massage, and myofascial release. I look forward to meeting and helping you.

Self-care is also important to me, so I also like to share stretches I have learned over the years. Combining massage with floating, chiropractic care, and acupuncture can help as well.

I love being home playing video games, reading, spending time with my partner with our two cats Malcolm and Shaxx. Recently I have started gardening as well.
